Toddler II- Mighty Ducks

As infants grow into toddlers, their worlds become vast and wonderful galaxies to explore. They exhibit boundless energy and inquisitiveness, and every object and every moment is a new learning experience. It is at this stage of development when young minds begin to form meaningful connections to the world in which they live.

Our toddler program capitalize on this window of opportunity by introducing and constantly reinforcing essential skills and knowledge, building the foundations upon which future learning will occur. Through planned activities and free play, our toddlers are carefully guided as they learn how to communicate, begin to care for themselves, express feelings appropriately, and understand how to play with others and interact appropriately with adults.

During this period, your child will learn skills that include pushing and pulling objects, turning and bending, matching objects by color and size, follow simple one-step directions, and building an early vocabulary. 

Our Creative Curriculum for Infants and Toddlers provides a comprehensive framework that emphasizes the relationships between the teachers/caregivers and children and their families form the basis of curriculum for very young children.

	Megan McIntyre Lead Teacher I have been working at Partners In Learning since 2004.  I have an AAS degree in Business Administration and am currently working on my AAS in Early Childhood Education.
	Cassie Karriker Hello! My name is Cassie Karriker, let me start off by saying that I am so excited to be a part of the family here at Partners in Learning. I am twenty years old; I have three year old son, Konnor. He is the best thing that has ever happened to my husband and me. Currently, I am attending Rowan-Cabarrus Community College; I will receive my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education in May of 2012. After that I plan to attend Catawba College and receive my Bachelors In Special Education. I look forward to working with you and your children in hopes that we can form lifelong friendships.
